Hi I'm Mark from the north of England. I am keen chess player. I am a former Lancashire U18 champion and have played in the England junior squad.

m7lb7: I think the immediate 9.Rd1, or even 9.h3, is better for white here than 9.d4 ...Bg4 10.Rd1. With the black bishop on g4 I don't think d4 is as strong for white because of the g4-d1 pin. Hence 9.h3 followed by 10.d4 or even 9.Rd1 Bg4 10.h3 Bh5 11.d3! And then you play Knight d2-f1-g3 ...
