| Jul-18-12 | | NakoSonorense: It looks like PSG are having a busy transfer season, uh? |
 |
| Jul-19-12 | | SirChrislov: Hey muchachos, long time no see!
Hello <Nako>, <falso contacto>, <meloncio>, congrats to La Roja! <God bless the Air Conditioning inventor.> Amen. Hot as hell out here in Los Angeles too. just the other day I saw a homeless person sitting on a block of ice! but I don't mind the heat, it's cook-out season! Tudalu! |

 | | meloncio: <Nako><PSG> Getting Zlatan Ibra signed is not a good deal, I never liked that guy. |

 | | harrylime: I've avoided posting on this great forum since England limped out of the Euro's.. lol But...
The football season is beckoning. |

<harrylime><The football season is beckoning> At last! Football-out season is unbearable, though Olympics are here to relieve us a little bit... By the way congratulations for Bradley Wiggins win on Tour de France, a British for the first time in 99 years. And about time too! :D |

| Jul-23-12 | | MarkFinan: Hey Humphrey... Forget Wiggins, we want our football back lol.. I watched Brazil v GB pre Olympic friendly the other day, and It was really embarassing! I know the other nations, especially South American teams, take the Olympics more seriously, but "The Brits" really got played off the park! (I'm English btw ;) ).. They had Oscar, Neymar, and Tiago Silva on display..
"We" had........ Dean Sturridge!!!!
Anyway, who cares about the Olympics football wise, lol ! And yes.. Looks like PSG really mean business, maybe looking at CL winners within the next 3 years?? I just want someone, anyone, to put In a serious bid for Messi..
You gotta be talking £250 million for his signature, and say a £50 million signing on fee, and £500,000 a week tax free pay packet !
Well surely he can't stay at Barca forever, Maradona, Cruyff, Stoickavic, Hagi, and even Steve Archibald all moved on eventually.... ;) lol
I hope to god he comes to England before he's 27, It would be Impossible to get a ticket to any match for the club he signed for though, unless you had a ST for that club In the first place... I think Madrid will win the title this year though... |

 | | harrylime: Wiggins is as cool as fcuk. Anyone who looks like an early 70's construction worker who can ride around France the fastest is ok with me. |

Jul-28-12
 | | meloncio: IMO best things at OG Opening Ceremony last night: Mr. Bean and ... Maria Sharapova! :) <harrylime> Our dear Macca is getting old and losing his voice, but he's still great. |
 |
Jul-28-12
 | | harrylime: I can't stand Mr Bean.
So I take it you were not impressed.? |
 |
Jul-29-12
 | | meloncio: I only watched a part of it, but around here all the newspapers are writing that the ceremony was grand and beatiful, the whole histoy of Great Britain.
I'm a bit old and you know, I have seen many Opening Ceremonies, so that does not have much interest to me. In Olympic Games I like athletics very much, but not much the other sports. <I can't stand Mr Bean> He's very popular in Spain due to his old TV show. I think it's because his speechless humor using cheats can easily reach the Latin spirit. For instance, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBnE...
Moreover, our former premier R. Zapatero was sometimes nicknamed Mr Bean for his political enemies, it was a running joke in Spain, http://www.google.es/imgres?hl=es&s... I still remember The Benny Hill Show, also popular here in 80s. I know it was a bit boorish and "machista" but even so I enjoyed it. |
 |
Jul-30-12
 | | harrylime: It captured an essence. It was'nt exactly an entire history . But the music was uber cool and Becks thundering thru Tower Bridge on a speedboat with the Olympic torch was something to behold lol It was the most surreal opening ceremony I've seen in my lifetime to be sure ! lol Mr Bean is well down in the comedic pantheon here. |
 |
| Aug-07-12 | | NakoSonorense: Both the USA and Mexico going for gold in London! Exciting! |
 |
Aug-08-12
 | | WannaBe: Is this Olympics Men's Soccer a preview for the Next World Cup in Brazil and Olympics in Brazil? The Women's team have no age limit, but the Men's do, and if the team continue to grow and mature, it can be very interesting. |
