nyarlathotepcraft: I like this gambit. Amazingly, Lasker recaptures the pawn but on move 23. And he achieved ensuring his opponent couldn't castle. The final combo starts on the rook sacrifice of move 35 and culminates in a piece advatage by move 42, (a seven move combo); rather nice!

nyarlathotepcraft: I ask why chessgames.com would even bother to store such a game. I do, however, think that storing the recent short draws of the grandmasters is good because anyone can study the statistics and establish who the top 20 short draw players of the last decade are. I find ...

| |
|
nyarlathotepcraft: The knight moves 6 followed by a second 7 by white are a bad waste of time in the opening, and it just leads to a night exchange, and doubled pawns for white. Move seven by white is very poor. White then retreats with his bishop AND his other night, and all the time, black
