petrovalovski: He deserves a little more kibitzing, indeed. What with a rating of 2689 at this young age. And he's improving very quickly, as far as I know he's gaining something like 10 points from his 4/7 in Dortmund. And now in the China match he has already gained something like 10 points

petrovalovski: Indiands make up for one sixth of the total world population. So I wouldn't really say that they perform THAT well, except of course for Anand.

   May-21-07 Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (replies)

petrovalovski: I don't know if anyone has noticed yet. But to me it seems as if Mamedyarov is exactly the opposite of Topalov. In the first half of a tournament he always plays extremely well but then in the later rounds he always falls apart: Mtel2007,Corus2005,Corus2006 and many other ...

May-21-07 Match of the Hopes (2007) (replies)

petrovalovski: A few really good players are missing: Topalov, Ivanchuck, Radjabov, Mamedyarov. It really sucks for these players that they are excluded from the world championship cycle which lasts several years only due to a small loss in a rapid game almost two years ago.

petrovalovski: third!

   May-16-07 Arianne Caoili (replies)

petrovalovski: I agree with NakoSonorense and s4life. Aronian definitely is a great guy but all this Armenian propaganda is pissing a lot of people off.

   May-08-07 Nigel Short (replies)

petrovalovski: <davolni> All Short did was say that he has had a bad experience with Petrosian. I think if anyone here needs professional help it should be you. You could for instance start working on your problem of being a crazy nationalist.

   May-06-07 Alexander Morozevich (replies)

petrovalovski: Does anyone know how many ratingpoints Moro has won so far? If he keeps winning he might overtake Kramnik and Topalov on the next ratinglist.

Apr-18-07 European Individual Championship (2007) (replies)

petrovalovski: <fromoort> political reasons, I suppose.

petrovalovski: you win against someone, you defeat someone, you don't win someone
