pmukerji: <Fusilli> yeah you are right. But instead of 27. ...Qe8 if black plays 27. ...Ke8 then black loses just the knight...I think.

pmukerji: I saw it like <An Englishman>, coming away with the bishop...actual line wins a rook instead so is better but slightly more complex...either way...

Nov-26-12 Carlsen vs The World, 2012 (replies)

pmukerji: Rookie question that's probably obvious to most...why didn't magnus play Rxd3 on move #28 or #29?

Nov-14-12 Kharlov vs Krasenkow, 1997 (replies)

pmukerji: Yeah but to steve's point white gets a rook and a minor piece for the queen leaving him with a fighting chance...although with the wide open board it'll be difficult to hold it together. Yes i definitely feel the the puzzles earlier in the week are getting harder but i'm just a ...

pmukerji: What if black plays 35. ... Rxa3 to equalize...i'm probably not seeing something here. Thoughts?

pmukerji: Man, this is pure beauty! <felix90> I'm not sure but I think if 46. .. Be7+ then 47. Nxe7 still threating mate on b8. Now I think black must check either with the queen or rook and in both cases white covers by bringing the knight back to d5 and the mate becomes immediately ...

   Jun-01-12 Anand vs Radjabov, 2003

pmukerji: Thanks LTJ. The Ng3 is the tougher one to defend in my opinion...I think the Ne3 line has some alternative defenses that might let white get away. Interesting combinations. Thanks so much for sharing.
