spdcoder: The Caro-Kann only seems to be useful in avoiding the theory of the many sicilian or Ruy-lopez variations when playing a prepared opp. Does anyone else play this opening for any other purpose?

spdcoder: I just played this opening with g6 and was looking for a game where black won. All I found is this! This game is hilarious. Is g6 really that bad for black? I like the idea of fianchettoing the bishop.
