   Jan-13-18 Tata Steel (2018) (replies)
starry2013: Lots of draws would favour Anand as much as anyone else.
Dec-31-17 World Blitz Championship (2017) (replies)
starry2013: frogbert: <One uses a K of 20 for blitz, which in itself is fine.> Why? Results in a one off blitz game can be more random than a one off classical game. I don't see why it's fine.
Nov-25-17 FIDE Grand Prix Mallorca (2017) (replies)
starry2013: Others got short draws in the grand prix series including Mamedyarov and Grischuk who qualified, not just MVL. The format as well as Agon's organisation has been a failure, I didn't really bother following the last two events it just got too boring.
   Nov-02-17 Wesley So (replies)
starry2013: Carlsen strong favourite there with the shorter time control.
   Oct-26-17 Ivanchuk - Wei Yi (2017) (replies)
starry2013: Wei Yi won last game.
Oct-17-17 Isle of Man Open (2017) (replies)
starry2013: Some opinions though can be remarkably uninformed, just look at popular music for that, people voice their ignorance with great glee often.
   Sep-26-17 World Cup (2017) (replies)
starry2013: The only point he's fallen down on is opening prep it feels, Aronian hasn't looked better beyond that. Ding likes complications which for the audience is better than playing it safe.
   Sep-21-17 Aronian vs M Vachier-Lagrave, 2017 (replies)
starry2013: JPi, I think So and Ding played more long games this tournament than these two.
   Sep-14-17 Anton Kovalyov (replies)
starry2013: Players are wearing all kinds of stuff from what I've seen. on Azmaiparashvili Petrosianic: <why on earth would FIDE act?> To enforce their rules?
   Sep-13-17 Aronian vs D Dubov, 2017 (replies)
starry2013: Dubov left nearly 30 minutes on the clock which he could have used to get a draw near the end.
