starry2013: The main event at St Louis soon to begin.

   Aug-12-17 Wesley So (replies)

starry2013: The knockout and Swiss formats coming up probably suit him more anyway.

   Aug-03-17 Sinquefield Cup (2017) (replies)

starry2013: Gigi isn't here because he didn't qualify by rating when it was decided. At the time Nepo was in good form and his rating was higher.

   Jul-29-17 Wei Yi (replies)

starry2013: Eh? When does he lose to 'elite'? He loses rating against lower ranked Chinese players. At least get the facts right.

Jul-15-17 FIDE Grand Prix Geneva (2017) (replies)

starry2013: Of those I give Ding most respect as he fights more, the others such as Grischuk have had a number of very short draws to conserve their strength. The grand prix series really hasn't worked that well.

Jul-09-17 Adams vs Grischuk, 2017 (replies)

starry2013: Grischuk has had several very short games in this grand prix series.

   Jul-09-17 Eljanov vs I Nepomniachtchi, 2017 (replies)

starry2013: Though Nepo's also been one of the out of form players in recent months.

   Jul-03-17 YourNextMove (Rapid) (2017) (replies)

starry2013: It could be like that, just like test cricket doesn't seem the future of cricket.
