visceral infestation: Anything wrong with 12.g4?

   Nov-14-05 Grigor Minchev (replies)

visceral infestation: I was just hoping to see ways that this gambit loses as well as wins. My intention was to mean that this gambit may not have had the success for Minchev as is displayed in this database.

visceral infestation: Is Fischerandom the future of chess. I hope so. It sure is getting sterile with the overanalysis going on. It has taken me almost two years of studying openings just to be able to compete. I'm absolutely sick of it.

Nov-02-05 Kasparov vs Karpov, 2001 (replies)

visceral infestation: I think it can be said that 14...Nf8 is where the trouble begins. There must be a better option.

Oct-31-05 Judit Polgar vs Anand, 2005 (replies)

visceral infestation: Sometimes his name is "Rodgers" he's in there.

Oct-31-05 G Minchev vs Aleksandr Petrov, 1994 (replies)

visceral infestation: 4...Nxe5 5.d4 Nc6 6.d5 Bb4! 7.dxc6 Nex4 8.Qd4 Qe7 seems to trick more than treat! I think I'll play around with this anyway. Sometimes it's better to play a fun opening. That's why we play chess right? For fun. Well maybe I'll have a different opinion of how "fun" this ...

visceral infestation: Halloween attack is solving many problems for me. I use Nc3 to start and come across a similar position often. I'm not sure how sound the attack is, but at least it has some flare.

   Oct-28-05 Jon Ludvig Hammer (replies)

visceral infestation: I've noticed that Hammer likes to trade down often. Are there any players that really excel at this. It seems to fit my style. Oh and as far as MC Hammer goes. Read the lyrics for "Soft and Wet" sometime. Funny stuff.

   Oct-28-05 J L Hammer vs C F Ekeberg, 2005 (replies)

visceral infestation: Could somebody explain 18. h4 to me please.

Oct-05-05 Topalov vs Adams, 2005 (replies)

visceral infestation: Does Adams look over his head in this tournament or is just me?
