I learned the game in the aftermath of Fischer/Spassky while in high school, back in 1972. Helped to start a chess club in school. After graduation, I joined the Navy, and left the game behind. The old flame came calling, and in the last two years, have returned to the game. I was playing 1400 chess at the time I joined the Navy, and now any 7 year old who learns the game can probably beat me.

My favorite players include Morphy as well as Andersen, Alekhine as well as Capablanca, Petrosian as well as Spassky, Fischer, and Kasparov.
