ChessBookie Game

Glorious winner of one third of the 7th Annual Caissar Award for Outstanding Achievements in the Field of Username Selection (and that's official...)

"My cousin Sammy told me a true slugger - a Szeged slugger - will always swing for the fences, and that is exactly what I am going to do. I am going to knock Kramnik out of the room with my 'home run punch.' My trainer and I have been developing it in camp. I just hope Vladimir's head is screwed on tight or it may end up on top of the demonstration board!" Game Collection: Lékó - Fireless and Boring?

Are you a player desperately in search for a system against 1.e4? Don't worry, friend, help is here. Finally, an easy and solid Black repertoire is available for everybody - the ultimate Owen Defense collection is complete and finished! Game Collection: Owen Defense

brankat: <Switch> It was only today I found out there was a page called <Argue>. I assume You have been familiar with it. Funny (and sad/sick) stuff. Do You think that <q.c.> and <Dr.T.> are the same entity? Like a split personality case. It would appear <angslo> has not grown even a quarter of an inch :-)

Must admit it was quite an effort for me: not to post there :-)

SwitchingQuylthulg: <brankat> Not sure, really. The doctor <looks> an awful lot like <angslo>, but he does some things that <angslo> doesn't do. For example, he links to other people's posts the right way, so they work for anyone regardless of their ignore list - <angslo> has yet to show he's smart enough for that :-)

<angslo> himself claimed the doctor is <frogbert>, which is a somewhat appealing idea since posting links the right way is a trademark of his... but it could just as easily be one of <frogbert>'s many enemies, wanting us to think exactly that. Anyway, other people post links the right way.

I'm hoping <angslo> and the Doctor are both socks, so we aren't the same species as them :)

Point blank should end Florida Fischers

SwitchingQuylthulg: Actually, Finland's biggest Asian imitation competition is this weekend. Sixteen thousand competitors and an overnight live TV and web feed :)

Didn't expect any of W-B-W :( Just as well I wasn't betting big today.

Sometimes it is good to expect the "unexpected" ;-) I made about $2,200 profit.

SwitchingQuylthulg: <moronovich> No kidding. Had Carlsen won and Anand-Moro and Naka-Karjakin both been drawn, I could have been on top :)

brankat: Thanks guys! Today, with all three decisive games I was just really lucky.

The funny thing is W-B-W was one of my 3 "savers", a small ticket.

Even funnier thing is that out of my 4 "big" tickets, the biggest one was on D-D-D :-) $150, although I hardly ever bet DDD. But this time at about 11-1 I thought it to be the most likely outcome :-)
