Topista: Alexander Hristov Tsvetkov born 1914 was awarded the IM title in 1950. He was Bulgarian Champion in 1938, 1940, 1945, 1948 (jointly), 1950 and 1951.
The guy was Bulgarian not Russian.

Topista: This game kind of a bit reminds of the 2one from the infamous Elista match...Only here Kramnik played Topalov's part. Kramnik tried to play an all out attack without much positional restraint considerations leaving weaknesses behind. I would have loved to see him win.
