My name is A J Goldsby; and I am a (U.S.C.F.) Original LIFE-Master from Pensacola, FL. (USA) [I.e., in order to to gain the LM title, this means that I played over 300 rated games while maintaining a master's rating. (2200+)] Be sure to visit my main chess website at http://www.lifemasteraj.com, or http://www.ajschess.com. My e-mail (address) is <<"LifeMasterAJ(at)yahoo.com.">> (Hint: DON'T use the quotation marks ... or the brackets!!!)

Please note (quite a number of years ago) that the U.S. Chess Federation (http://main.uschess.org/) stopped awarding the "LIFE Master" title. To be very plain, this was all politics, and I was a part of this process ... although I fought against the change. The main reason that the USCF stopped awarding the LM title was that FIDE (http://www.fide.com/) thought that the title "took away" from their "FIDE Master" (FM) title, although since their norm is based only on 25 (or often less) games, that an FM is often much weaker than the average LM. (Certainly there is no comparing the number 300 with 25, that's just silly.)

I am a popular reviewer of chess books ... here is my profile on the "Amazon" website. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/pdp/profil...)

FYI - Just about ALL of my websites have an "Annotated Games" page. For example, the website that I am best known for is: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera.... (This is my old "GeoCities" website, I moved it to its current location when GC stopped offering free websites.) The page for annotated games (on this website) is: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera....

I am often asked about the system that I invented, and the one that I use in OTB chess tournaments. (Below are the three pages that outline my whole system.)

Page One: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera...

Page Two: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera...

Page Three: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera...

Game Collection: "ChessGames" >Problem of The Day< (2012)

IF you really want to improve, I highly recommend that you do 5-10 tactical problems on a daily basis! (Read this web-page for my very precise methodology: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera... - be sure to read "Cool Training Tip, #01" in its entirety.)

LIFE Master AJ: http://www.ajschess.com/lifemastera... Abdel Errata's info was not only hyper-gibberish, it was also completely incorrect. (A former student of mine e-mailed me today. He asked that I open this page with Google Chrome ... and I did. It looked fantastic, no problems at all!)

LIFE Master AJ: J Curdo vs D Kopec, 1969 (Curdo soundly defeats Kopec in a Sicilian, albeit - from the White side.) I don't see Curdo using openings other than 1...e5. Maybe what the person - who made the comment - meant was that Curdo only plays certain openings. (For example, he mostly ...
