  Resignation Trap: For many years, Bannik had always placed a large apple beside his board. When the position became completely clear, he took a knife, cut up the apple, and consumed it with a good appetite.

But on one occasion Bannik did not manage to eat his apple: Bannik vs Petrosian, 1961 .
