Maroczy: Macieja drew with China's Bu today. When I first looked it seemed bad for him, king was open but he avoided defeat somehow. I don't know anything about Mr. Xu Bu, a sleeper? This tournament is in Armenia honoring the great Petrosian.

SetNoEscapeOn: Congrats to Barlomiej on his win today against the monster Radjabov
Nov-28-07   DanRoss53: With the Black pieces, he has Radjabov on the ropes yet again... looks like he might advance with a 2-0 performance against the third seed.
Nov-28-07   arsen387: This guy has become famous today. He won Radjabov 2-0. The biggest sensation in World Cup so far!
Nov-28-07   slomarko: this guy was european champion a couple of years ago.

Gypsy: Eliminated Laznicka and Radjabov thus far -- 1.5:0.5 and 2:0(!), respectively. Bart is on a roll!
Nov-28-07   kazza83: It simply means that chess is still chess regardless of who you are and what's your rating (Macieja's 2-0 win against Radjabov).

dx9293: At least half the 128 players are very strong GMs. Such things do happen, and the very best players don't always perform their best against guys who have to "play for their supper."
