Feb-29-04   ConLaMismaMano: This is my favorite player, has beaten players such as Morozevich, Shirov, Gulko, Geller, Jiangchuan (China's top player), Granda Zuņiga, Topalov, Timman, Sutovsky, Short, Karjakin, etc.
Feb-29-04   PizzatheHut: <ConLaMismaMano> I've never heard of him. Could you explain why he's your favorite player?
Mar-01-04   ConLaMismaMano: First because he's from Argentina, where I was born, second because he's a "normal" 2500s GM but there days in which he can beat anyone, check out his games against Topalov, Shirov and Morozevich. And finally and most importantly because i like very much his playing style.

meloncio: Now he lives in Sevilla (Spain), my hometown, where sometimes I meet him. Last time I saw him, just before Christmas, he had a very long beard as a biblical patriarch.
Mar-28-04   ruylopez900: An interesting fellow. Shame no one's commented on his 24 hours in the spotlite as Player of the Day....

chessgames.com: We just did something unprecedented: we switched the player of the day to Daniel Campora. The reason we did this is that we are testing out new POTD system.

From this point forward, the Player of the Day will no longer be randomly selected, but instead will be picked from a list which mostly coincides with player's birthdays, and sometimes relevant holidays. We think this will be much more fair and interesting than the random system.

Jun-30-06   Confuse: <chessgames.com> i thought u already did that what with all the coincidences already! thats cool though, thanks for your hard work : )
