Awarded the IM title in 1980 and became Bulgarian champion in 1983 (after playoff).
Dec-16-05  stanleys: And he was awarded a grandmaster title at the end of the 80's.There are many other things to say about him.I'll try to complete your database soon

  whiteshark: He won the International Czechoslovakian Championship in Bratislava in 1983 with 10 points ahead of Lubomir Ftacnik (who became therefore Czechoslovak champion) with 9.5 points and Rainer F A Knaak with 8.0 points.

It also brought him his first GM-norm.
