Jun-04-06    veigaman: He is a very talented player without theorical preparation because of the lack of chess tradition in Venezuela. He has a natural talent to attack and also to play endgames. His games against collins was great Jun-08-06    percyblakeney: Iturrizaga (2232) played 6 opponents rated higher than 2400 in the Olympiad. Against Lputian (2619) he lost a long endgame, and drew against Markus (2585). Agdestein (2594) and the remaining three 2400+ opponents were all defeated. Jul-20-07    veigaman: Iturrizaga has already qualified to the world chesschampionship cycle after beating boris gulko with black pieces in the last round. He finished the tournament with the same amount the points that: julio granda, akobian, ivanov, dercy lima. He has the 3 GM since a year ago but he has not had the sponsorship to play international event to reach the 2500 points to gain the GM title. He was the only one who manage to draw the Cubans Dominguez and Bruzon.
