| IMlday: An early tournament pamphlet I acquired (second hand) was the Lasker Memorial, East Berlin, 1962. Vasiukov and Stein completely dominated. None of V's games from there seem to have made the CG database. |

I do recall that both Stein and Vasyukov were playing 1.e4 e6 2.d3, and that I, 13, was plenty impressed. |
