Aug-16-04   sleepkid: the FIBChess computer. . . brought to you by the mental titans of the FBI.

. . . errrr...

Aug-16-04   cuendillar: How could this computer reach the WCCC, the other engines were totally superior. I don't think it would get a second chance too soon either. Was it a wildcard?
Aug-20-04   sleepkid: Well Atari Chess was slated to compete, but then the last working Atari 2600 burned out and so they fired up an old Coleco Vision and entered FIBChess. . . or something like that.
Feb-05-05   priluki: No Comment. Incredible weakness.

biglo: Actually this computer patzer was the product of IM Guillermo Baches Garcia :)
Sep-29-05   delterp: Worst program ever.

You could put Fritz on a computer, replace the CPU with a piece of SPAM, and Fritz would still win.

Jan-19-06   sneaky pete: The silicon version of Odd Lie.

Jan-28-06   blingice: After looking at all of FIB's games, I'm convinced that it is programmed to try and be like Morphy, except blind.

Apr-10-06   Nikita Smirnov: This computer is mad.I saw a thing about Botvinnik on TV and there it was said that Botvinnik wanted to create a Chess Computer which could win over a human and he created a computer under the name Pioner which was the first Chess Computer before his death and he thought that a computer could beat a human!Which is impossible!

alexmagnus: <Nikita> Pioner wasn't created. Botvinnik had plans but he didnt have time to get them into life. But playing himself applying the algorithm he thought out for Pioner, he beat other computers.
Sep-02-06   Nikita Smirnov: Thanks for the information!I really needed it.
Jan-19-08   Jim Bartle: Why isn't its highest ELO rating listed above? Don't have a strong enough microscope?
