Calli: Kind of like it. Sämisch or José Raúl Capablanca would be nice. But, CG, don't get carried away with original names. Szmul Rzeszewski would not be good. :-)

Runemaster: <Larsker: My "Ordbog over det danske sprog" has the word paaaande ("breathe upon"). That's four identical letters in a row. Has any other language ever bettered that?> I don't know one that's bettered it, but I think Estonian has the word "jaaaar" (with two dots on all the a's) which means 'The Ice Age'. There's a pop group by that name as well. I don't speak Estonian, but ever since I saw the word, it's become one of my favourites in any language.

Bashful Bob: Actually, the desciption "a with a dot" is not alltogether correct... it should be "a with a small circle". The letter "å" is a combination of "a" and "o", that is a pronounciation like a "rounded a".

Ziggurat: The "å" sounds something like the word "awe" pronounced by a Briton (think Hugh Grant).
