  GrahamClayton: Henry Wellsteed Apperly (b. 24 February 1861, Melbourne; d. 16 July 1930, Sydney) had a 55 year employment history with the Australian Mutual Provident Society. He was also a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society of London. He was a multiple Queensland state champion. Apperly died of a heart seizure while on the train home from work to his home.
