May-25-05   soberknight: Was he a White Fang? (I don't intend to be racist.)
Mar-19-06   Jim Bartle: No, that only means he was playing white...Of course his favorite opening was the (Jack) London System.

an interesting game from theoretical point of view featuring the rare 6...gxf6 in the semi-slav, but why did black resign?

21...Qg5 and i cant see i win for white after 22.Qxc3.

Jun-28-08   RookFile: One way for white to win is 21...Qg5 22. Rf4.
Jun-29-08   apexin: thank you <RookFile> i completely overlooked that! the line i saw first was something like 21...Qg5 22.Qxc3 Kh7 23.h4 Qf6 where white is probably winning due to 24.Qxf6 Nxf6 25.Nh6+ but 22.Rf4 is a simpler win.
