Luis Sanchez born 1917 was a Colombian IM. He played in the Stockholm-Saltsjobaden interzonal in 1952 finishing 17th and was 3rd in the Caracas zonal in 1957. At Santiago, Chile 1959 he was 4th= with Robert James Fischer and Raul Sanguineti. He also represented Colombia at the Olympiads of 1954, 1956 and 1958.
