Dr Mario Napolitano was born on the 10th of February 1910 in Acquaviva delle Fonti, Italy. Awarded the CGM title in 1953 he finished 2nd= with Harald Malmgren behind Cecil John Seddon Purdy in the 1st World Correspondence Championship in 1953. He passed away in Florence, Italy in 1995.

He should have been born in Napoli.
