Martin Petr earned his three grandmaster norms at the Czech Republic's Extraliga 2010-11, with his =1st with Spartak Vysochin at the Vasylyshyn Memorial tournament in Lviv, Ukraine, and by taking out outright first place with 6/9 at the 2011 Rector Cup in Kharkiv, Ukraine in Feb 2011, half a point clear of second placed Alexander Kovchan.
