|Miguel Farre Mallofre, born in Barcelona in 1936, was a Spanish IM (1959) whose promising career was cut short by business commitments. He played in two World Junior Championships in 1953 and 1955 and in 1957 he was 2nd= in the Spanish Championship. He was 5th= at Madrid 1957 and 4th= at Torremolinos 1961.
He played in the Olympiads at Munich 1958 and Leipzig 1960 and scored well in both events.|
