Jul-07-09   ozmikey: Another Australian as player of the day! Good stuff.

As well as being an IM and Australia's top player in the seventies (along with Max Fuller) Jamieson is also (or was, at least) a top-class tennis player. A friend and I played doubles against him and one of his clubmates once - Jamieson's volleys were incredible, pinpoint accurate.

Jul-07-09   WhiteRook48: Happy birthday!
