Afro-Cuban National Master. Rogelio Ortega was Cuban champion in 1958 and 1966. He represented his country at the Olympiads of 1952, 1962, 1964, 1966 and 1968. Dec-27-04  MonsieurL: I recently came across a game he played in the Chessmaster Database, Ortega vs. Ivkov, Capablanca Memorial, 1962. His uncommon opening of four pawns on the third rank is strange, but not included here. I wonder why! :)
