Oct-27-04  nikolaas: In Spain vs USA match in the 1958 Munich olympiadToran won against Bisguier on the third board. As soon as the American master resigned Toran said with a smile: "I am so happy, it's a nice present for my birthday!". "It's all right" - said his opponent politely - "today happens to be my birthday too"...

Jan-05-10  Eastfrisian: As I know, his hobby was to collect stamps.
Oct-08-12  bachiller: His second name, Albero, sounds like a typical spanish term, as it means both the bullring and the sand used for it.
