Ventzislav Vladimirov Inkiov was born on the 19th of May 1956 in Stanke Dimitrov, Bulgaria. He was awarded the International Master title in 1977 and the Grandmaster tile in 1982. He won the Bulgarian Championship in 1982 after a play-off. He played on the Bulgarian Olympiad teams of 1982, 1984 and 1986 and in tournaments he was 1st at Pernik 1981, 1st at Timisoara 1982, 2nd= at Plovdiv 1984, 2nd= at Varna 1987 and 2nd at Warsaw 1987.
