  HeMateMe: I played in high school and college, and there was one girl, in college that played, but she wasn't strong enough to get a board on our A or B team. But it was nice to have the opposite sex there, for skittles and kibitzing.

It doesn't take a great beauty queen to be the Anna Kornikova of the chess scene. But I'd like to see someone like that show up in the chess world one day. It could happen...
