In 2011, he won the Canadian Senior's championship and in 2007, he achieved a Canadian National Master certification from results in Ontario. He and Andre Zybura scored 5.5/11 (tied for share of 43rd-63rd) for Canada in 2012 at the World Senior's chess championship.
