YRJO A RANTANEN (born Apr-23-1950) Finland [what is this?] Yrjo Aukusti Rantanen was born on the 23rd April 1950 in Tampere, Finland. Awarded the IM title in 1977 and the GM title in 1981 he won the Finnish Championship in 1976 (jointly) and 1978. In tournaments he was 3rd at Helsinki 1981 and 1st at Jarvenpaa in 1982.
