 | | dakgootje: I'm not sure skirts exist in Finland, considering it's average day-time summer temperature is only several degrees above absolute zero. The combination of getting high under the weather is interesting though :) |
May-23-12
 | | dakgootje: <Then the name still remains a mystery> Hardly.
You should take the first letter, skip 3, take the next, skip 3 und so weiter. Her real name is Jiiee. |
May-23-12
 | | brankat: Sounds Finish, which makes sense. Switch probably has the name on file somewhere :-) |
May-23-12
 | | SwitchingQuylthulg: <brankat> <dakkie> <everybody> Sorry for not spamming ;-) <Jiiee> Excellent detective work! It probably just means her initials are J.E. though. What those stand for, I wouldn't dare guess :) |
May-23-12
 | | brankat: Spamming is the name of the game around here. If we were to post only "meaningful" stuff, CG would go bankrupt in short order :-) |
May-23-12
 | | SwitchingQuylthulg: Everything we post is meaningful. Some bits, like "squab", are even multiply meaningful :) |
May-23-12
 | | SwitchingQuylthulg: But you're right, I really need to spam myself back into form. Not posting rather takes the fun out of kibitzing :) Applying <dak>'s analysis to "jessicafischerqueen" but starting two letters later we get <SACQN>, which could be another clue - unfortunately, I think it's most likely just a sly reference to Alekhine vs Von Feldt, 1916 and her role as <Mrs. Alekhine> :) Alternatively, it could have something to do with A Gerschenkron vs Fischer, 1935, which is very similar to the game above... |
May-23-12
 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Switch> aha yes I have some <Alekhine> writers who indeed think <"Feldt"> was in fact <Fischer>, who went on to become a notorious Nazi of some kind? Or a perhaps a Mormon. I read about this in January, so I'll have to check which book suggests this. I think it might be <Skinner and Verhoeven>. I will check today. |
May-24-12
 | | brankat: <jessica>??? Although "simpler" doesn't necessarily means "better", it still may be more practical to bypass (avoid) Feldt(s), Nazis, Mormons, Skinners & Verhoevens if You just let us know what Your first name is. Or, at least the initial. We can take it from there. Who knows, it may even be possible to prevail upon the Bookie to organize a betting contest of sorts :-) |
May-24-12
 | | brankat: <Switch> Page #111 ! Congratulations. It almost feels like it was only yesterday when the count was at 110 :-) Long live spamming! |
May-24-12
 | | jessicafischerqueen: Sorry <branko> but that would screw up all <Tim's> arrangements. |
May-24-12
 | | brankat: <jessicafischerqueen> You are right, of course. Even aside from "Tim's arrangements", there should always be an aura of mystery around a woman :-) |
| May-26-12 | | MarkFinan: <Switch> Whats happened at the chessbookies mate?? You've taken a big old dive! You'll be In the cellar with me soon lol
... Well my big 3 just paid out.. Draw/under 40/first move, but with all my little "back-up bets" on 1st move Nf3 and ..... Someone winning (I know, throwing money away lol), Iv'e only made about 80 cb's... Bring on the Tal memorial, before that loan shark gets his goons on me ;) |
May-26-12
 | | dakgootje: Ah, so you've leapfrogged me again :) |
May-26-12
 | | ahmadov: I see there have been a lot of interesting correspondence on your forum. Hope I will have time to read them carefully once. |
May-26-12
 | | SwitchingQuylthulg: <MarkFinan> Mostly Kamsky's fault - still can't believe he managed to lose to Nakamura... But I've survived bigger dives than this and so will you, one day :) <dakkie> Yes, I'm now somewhere around c$1,350 ;-) |
May-26-12
 | | dakgootje: heh nice job ;)
Was busy throwing away 138kg of wood - so I forgot to bet this round. Will have plenty of time tomorrow - but it's a rest-day then. As per usual when I've got time to spare. :S |
May-27-12
 | | ahmadov: The Finnish lose when they perform a Swedish song, while the Swedish themselves win the entire song contest. This smells some conspritacy by the Swedish against the Finnish. :-) |
May-27-12
 | | ahmadov: Meanwhile, not everything was bad for the Finnish yesterday. They won against Turkey in international football friendlies. Congrats! |
May-30-12
 | | ahmadov: If what is written on <brankat>'s forum is true, then I wish you happy birthday! |
May-30-12
 | | dakgootje: And if it was not true - your new birthday is now officially the 30th of May! Congratulations SQ! |
May-30-12
 | | SwitchingQuylthulg: Thanks guys - the more birthdays I have, the better ;-) |
May-30-12
 | | Thanh Phan: A Happy Birthday Wish!
Have a good day :) |
May-30-12
 | | moronovich: Happy Birthday <Switch> ! |
May-30-12
