| | technical draw: Please do not give me anymore games with <quebecji>(team Canada). He's been down a whole rook for the last 15 moves and refuses to resign. In the other game he had a strong attack and I resigned even when material was even. If you look at the board you can see that there are no tactical threats or anything so I guess it's just a form of sour grapes. |

I was planning to play on until I had a better idea of how the other games in the match were going (in case I needed to press for a win), but since I've gotten scheduled for another match already (btw I'd rather not have more than 2 active games at a time please), I accepted the offer. Hopefully 1.5/2 isn't going to hurt our chances for the win in the team match (Go quylthulg!). My opponent sac'd a pawn for a pretty big development advantage. I felt I probably could eventually complete my development, but likely would also have eventually had to surrender the extra pawn. Here's the game: [Event "Team match"]

However, I do regret that I will not be able to put this in writing. As of recently I've had one of my outbreaks of Manos Nerviosous, a terrible condition that affects the extremities of the patients arms & causes them to gyrate.
