Aug-15-12  A.G. Argent: Finally getting one of my games v. <Yerevan> done with. Got him a move from mate. Seems like we started it back when Truman was president. The other one, however, has another couple president's terms written all over it at this guys pace. But we take the set, eh, Chief?

  brankat: <Captain> <The Team>

Here is a game I completed (won) 3 weeks ago, after 4 months struggle, with My opponent dragging his feet for 5 days in between moves :-)

The team is, I think, "Cricket-Match-Special" (?).

The second game against the same opponent started also on March 25th, and is still in progress with no end in sight (33 moves so far). The enemy waits until the last 2-3 hours in a 5d/m format.

waustad: <fred>Don't feel too bad, I ignored mate in 1 yesterday. OK it was a 5 minute game after several beers, but these things happen.
Aug-17-12  I play the Fred: <waustad>, if only I'd had a lot to drink before that blunder. But!

Happier news to report: I took both games from my opponent in the match against "MOONDUST COLLECTORS". In the four completed games, Team Chessgames leads 2.5-1.5.

This is, of course, my subtle way of campaigning for MVP. :D

There's an MVP award? I guess <rookie879> wins rookie of the year. I want the "best improved player" award.

Aug-17-12  I play the Fred: <td> I suppose <rookie879> would win it every year.
Aug-17-12  falso contacto: I secured a decent win earlier today.
I'm ready for a couple more 7d/m matches.
