orioles need to get laroche, then they will fly as high as the baby bird arms will take them. buck is the best manager in baseball. o's will be very good. now my astros are drifting down the river. keppinger was one of our best ballplayers on the field last year and now he doesn't have a job. they should have gone after theriot because he would have gone there to be close to home. larussa didn't take long to snatch his new ss.
the cubs are right around 10 yrs. away from respectability. glad to see lee not go to the yankees. white sox and red sox had terrific off-season so far...watch out for the O's!!!! |

ASTROS: we'll just have to wait on the sale to get seious again.
RANGERS: sold the house today in Baton Rouge, moving to the Hill country in Austin, so I'll have to become a Ranger fan. Beltre..bad move, i would have fept Michael young there and spent the money on Pitching...ivy league young GM who never played...but we got Nolan overseeing so i'll do my best to become a fan.
theriot starting for the Cardinals so i'll be a cardinal fan this year.

And I'm counting on the often legit mighty mo thing with the Cards going into Philly. And do you feel at all bad about the Birds ruining the lives of the entire NE section of the eastern seaboard? Can you imagine just how many hangovers there were in Boston yesterday morning? How many over flowing emergency rooms? Papelbon is suddenly the new Buckner. Bet he gets death threats. |
