 | | talisman: <A.G.Argent> man boston sounds like they got"issues"! pitchers drinking during the games??? on their day off?? well francona's gone...the orioles were not really that bad this year except for on the mound...5-6 rookies we all thought were going to be good and NONE of em were! Simon started that last game and he started the year in jail facing a murder charge...anyway, now anybody except the yankees...like leyland, like the rays, of st. louis, like texas. |

<Travis Bickle> it does!!!! and thanks!...you know i like Punto...when he was on the DL he spent about 30 min. talking to my son(at the pool before the astros game) and being real nice to him...now BENCH him and put ryan back in the lineup! :) |

 | | talisman: ok...k-bitz 4,400 is coming up. who to dedicate #44. John David Crow? Charlie Tolar? Wllie McCovey and Hank Aaron get it easy in baseball but football, Mmmm...oh Jerry West for basketball. Gonna think on it and open to suggestions for the famous #44's. |
 |
Apr-12-12
 | | OhioChessFan: Hank Aaron for sure. I was messing around trying to find a 44 in the NFL and stumbled upon this interesting article: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?sl... |
 |

Apr-20-12
 | | WannaBe: Kinda funny, coach, I moved to NorCal, and Ryan is here playing for the Giants, after his Dodgers stay. I have met a couple here, and one of them works for the Giants, the other one is retired, and the impression (they) have on Ryan, is very good. I told them about Ryan's stay with the Dodgers and a bit about you being his coach. Just some good baseball chat over beers. Hope you are enjoying your retirement, caught any big big big big fish yet? Don't lie now! |
 |
| Apr-20-12 | | A.G. Argent: And how 'bout them 1st place Birds, coach? Hoo-ah. |
 |
Apr-22-12
 | | talisman: <A.G. Argent> How bout Dem Birds!! Reimold's finally got the women problems out of his head and is starting to play...need Britton healthy...make Reynolds bunt w/ 2 strikes :) but really, glad we got Buck and the red sox got Bobby. |
 |
Apr-27-12
 | | talisman: R.I.P. Moose Skowron. Yanks traded him in 63 for Stan Williams and Moose would beat them in the 63 world series with the dodgers. Yanks wouldn't win another series until the reggie years. Moose was a good football player also, i think at Purdue(not sure). one of those guys who you never heard a bad word said about him. Pepitone once said that a couple of "friends"(you can guess the stereotype) once said they were going to take care of that showron problem for ya. R.I.P. Moose. and btw...the m and m boys were really the 3 m's. |

 | | WannaBe: Coach!
Have you seen this week's ranking of NCAA Baseball? LSU is ranked #2! My Bruins, (after taking 2 of 3 from Purdue, and could have swept, but gave up 10 runs, yep 10, in the top of ninth, lost game 3 15-11) is #8. Pac-12 is filled with talent, (but only 11 teams play, Colorado does not have a Varsity Baseball program.) |
 |
May-29-12
 | | talisman: <WannaBe> Colorado better get on the ball!! |
