Hastings 1925/26 |

Once again ten chess masters from England and the continent were invited to participate in the round robin event. The notable participants of this edition included Alexander Alekhine and Milan Vidmar. Suitably, they tied for first in the final, drawing only with each other and defeating every other player. Of course, this is all probably too late, but it does show the utility of stubs, those dangerous, but useful little stubs. |
