HeMateMe: is this an online event?

I think we can reasonably assume this is NOT an online event. And I'm really fine with that! We need more live face to face events so children and young players can experience the excitement of meeting and watching masters play.

we need NORMALCY

HeMateMe: If we had more normalcy we'd have more norms!
Dec-19-21  offramp: 50% of people are stupider than you.

HeMateMe: My phone version of this page doesn't show anything about the tournament except a list of participants--stupid.

chancho: He's only 17 years old.

I think he'll be among the elite in the not too distant future.

perfidious: I, for one would not care to lay odds agin it. This kid will be heard from at the highest levels.
Dec-29-21  siggemannen: Now the "kid" won world rapid, so i guess we heard from him a bit earlier than even perfidious could predict
Dec-29-21  siggemannen: Btw, the link in the tourney description is broken as well as the standings. <chessgames> admins, could someone take a look mayhaps?
Premium Chessgames Member
Tabanus: <siggemannen> Perhaps they'll do it next time.

18 of the 29 players on the list have all 10 games. Di Berardino has six games and two others 7 games, the rest 8 or 9 games. The missing games are not in chess24.

Jan-18-22  siggemannen: Looks pretty good now. Thanks <chessgames> and <Tabanus>!
