  Benzol: <Pawn and Two> has put together a number of tournament and match collections and although it's not indicated here as yet I believe this tournament page is based on one of them.

<Tabanus> Thanks brah. I uploaded those Feigin games from 365Chess, which gave the rounds but not the dates. Thanks to you I was able to add the dates now!

  Tabanus: You're welcome. It remains to remove some duplicates, it should be 9 x 17 = 153 games if all were played.

<Tab> I don't understand how duplicates can get into a TI event?

Does it have something to do with the relationship between gids and tids?

<Benzol, Tab>

<Benzol> yes this event was indeed collected by <Pawn and Two>: Game Collection: Mar del Plata 1941

<Tab> yes the TI version has four duplicates, since it shows 157 games. You can see that <Pawn and Two's> original collection has the correct 153 games.

Did this happen because the pgn Upload Utility allowed duplicate submissions through the gate?

I'm not sure how that can happen either. Doesn't the Utility have explicit coding to prevent that from happening?

<Tab> Ok I found and posted the 4 (four) duplicates. Once we get rid of them then we are back to the correct 153 games for the event.

Now one of us should submit a correction slip. Do you want to do it or should I do it amirite.

<Benzol> Now I credited <Pawn and Two> as the creator on the Tournament page. Good catch man!

  Tabanus: Perhaps CG's ghost duplicates are now visible? Yikes. You submit please, they don't want any more slips from me.

The COVID quarantine was lonely and isolating. Then Bigfoot stepped in, greeting bypassers with a Star Wars Rebel Alliance flag.

  Gregor Samsa Mendel: <keypusher> Julio and Jacobo Bolbochan were brothers and GMs who both participated in this tournament.
Mar-03-23  stone free or die: They're two brothers it seems. Check the xtab above.

(The <CG> short names are a bit confusing in your links, agreed)
