Apr-11-07  Strongest Force: What's Fridman's rating? Around 2650? I'd say he is underated even at 2650! Unlike his Latvian forebears like Tal, Shirov & Shabalov, Fridman is ultra-positional in the extreme sense. His contain & destroy technique is flawless & i don't know why he doesnt play more & why his rating isn't much higher.
Apr-11-07  Timex: <Strongest Force:> No, Fridman's rating is 2635. Isn't it amazing it is only 2635! He is a strong latvian player though. He beat Polgar and Grischuk. Impressive!
Apr-11-07  Dr.Lecter: Fridman's going to get married with Anna Zantoskih.
Apr-12-07  Timex: Who is Anna Zantoskih?
Apr-13-07  Dr.Lecter: The current U.S. woman champion. She already has a baby with Fridman.
Apr-13-07  scholes: Karpov is still active in chess????
Apr-13-07  Timex: yeah. FIDE kicked him out cuz he didn't play for almost a year, but that doesn't mean he is incative.
