Rubinstein - Schlechter (1918)
Rubinstein's return to the international arena, after a break of four years, saw him defeat his old rival Carl Schlechter in Berlin by 3½-2½.

Typically, Akiba started slowly and was a point down at the mid-point, but wins in games four and five helped him keep his undefeated match record intact.
