alexmagnus: So much for the alleged non-value of ratings below 2700 in modern times (and the devaluation of GM title). If with <2700 you still become a champion of a country which is one of the major forces in chess, you more than deserve the title (Krivoruchko is 2659).

nok: I sympathize, but you don't choose your name.
Jun-27-13  dumbgai: A forgettable tournament for veteran GM Neverov. The blunder at the end of his 210-move marathon game with Bogdanovich really did him in; he scored 0/7 starting with that one.
Jun-28-13  siggemannen: 3 games over 100 moves for Efimenko, that's quite unusual feat (perhaps a record even?!).

Quite possibly a record, or at least tied for one. It's hard to imagine anyone having <four> games over 100 moves in one tournament. Tim Krabbé mentions that Pilnik had two games of at least 150 moves at Mar del Plata 1950. http://timkr.home.xs4all.nl/records... Only 0.47% of the games in the database are 100 or more moves. http://www.chessgames.com/perl/ches...
