Jun-28-13  geeker: Kramnik-Pelletier going to blitz?
Jun-28-13  Karpova: Seems that Kramnik beat Pelletier 1.5-0.5 in Blitz and Polgar drew Mamedyarov 1.0-1.0 and now they playing another one.
Jun-28-13  Karpova: Mamedyarov won armageddon against Polgar.
Jun-28-13  Octavia: <Tomorrow's only meaningful clash is Kramnik-Pelletier.> ??? Mamedyarov - Polgar 1-1 & in the decider he could only draw. Why put her down before the games? She played pretty well considering that she just plays occasionally these days.
Jun-28-13  Kinghunt: <Octavia> I don't think it was anything against her, just that she was mathematically eliminated from reaching the semifinals and Mamedyarov was already guaranteed a spot before today's games. In short, their match had absolutely zero significance to future rounds in the event.
Jun-28-13  Arcturar: Okay, I'm confused. How is this tourney working? Does Kramnik have winning chances after all?
Jun-28-13  siamesedream: Yes, if he wins semi- and final:

Jun-28-13  Octavia: <kinghunt> point taken! Earlier someone was putting her down & that's why I thought the hate campaign was still going on.
Jun-28-13  parmetd: Plus the tournament setup was confusing.
Jun-28-13  geeker: I didn't intend to put Judit down! As already noted, I was just stating that only the Kramnik-Pelletier match had any relevance to future rounds.

perfidious: <geeker>: When I read your post, which appears to have caused a firestorm, I thought the phraseology ambiguous in nature, but let it pass without comment, seeing little reason to say anything.
Jun-28-13  kramputz: kids game
Jun-29-13  WiseWizard: Geneva is a nice word, when does the next round start?

soldal: First game of the semifinals, Nakamura-Kramnik, will start in a couple of minutes. It's live here, including video:

Jun-29-13  Strongest Force: Did anyone think Kramnik would win when a pawn up on Nak?
Jun-29-13  WiseWizard: A thousand thanks <soldal>.
Jun-29-13  Strongest Force: Anyone think that 2nd Nak-Kram game would be anything other than a draw?
Jun-29-13  Strongest Force: 3 consecutive draws in the Kram-Nak semi-finals.
Jun-29-13  Karpova: Kramnik beat Nakamura
Jun-29-13  anandrulez: So Kramnik plays Mamedyarov - The Great ?
Jun-29-13  anandrulez: Oh Okies , Kramnik in Final vs Mamedyarov vs Bacrot Winner . Well done Volodya , always proud of u .

soldal: Anyone think that anyone but Kramnik would win the semi-final?
Jun-29-13  Strongest Force: The 4th game was easy for Kram.
