Sep-20-13  tolengoy: <the command of English idiom I've seen in this forum merits high praise>

how about the command of the english word <idiot> by master tacticians <keypusher> and his minions? Are they workings and products of the advance of civilization...or traces of barbarism...these practitioners may have been direct decendants of Genghis Khan.

Sep-20-13  tolengoy: I did a family tree search and found the following as relatives of the Mongolian conqueror:

<twinlark>
<kkderek>
<chancho>
<simontigerwebb>
<pcberker>
<perfidious>
...

Sep-20-13  Jim Bartle: "Idiot" has a definition in the dictionary. Keypusher has been using it properly.
Sep-20-13  Sokrates: <Kinghunt: In his own words, Carlsen is a crocodile:> LOL - thanks for the link. I'm sure psychologists would be able to interpret what it means, if you choose a crocodile.- A good interview btw. He has a solid, down-to-earth conception of the coming match, neither being afraid nor cocky. I like his statement about opening preparation. He openly realises that we wouldn't be able to triumph with a normal repertoire against Anand (and Kramnik), thus deciding to use the unexpected, the not often played openings. Evidently, Anand will expect the unexpected, then! :-)
Sep-20-13  tolengoy: Interview with a vampire...starring Tom Cruise was a very good film, I thought, until I see this:

Interview with a barracuda:

STarring...Wesley So.

Sep-20-13  tolengoy: <"Idiot" has a definition in the dictionary. Keypusher has been using it properly.>

In that case, please extend to him my deep regards and tell him I reciprocate the kind gesture and consider him an idiot too.

Sep-20-13  tolengoy: other idiots:

<twinlark>
<kkderek>
<chancho>
<simontigerwebb>
<pcberker>
<perfidious>

feebleminded- 1 IQ point above idiot:

<jimbartle>

Sep-20-13  tolengoy: the above idiots obviously have me in their ignore list- or so they claimed. If I see an iota of a response (i.e. violent reaction), I will hold them to their word and call them liars to their face. Let's wait and see how this unfolds...

I agree, you said it right and it is proper.

Sep-20-13  pugak: <tolengoy: other idiots:

<kkderek>
<chancho>
<simontigerwebb>
<pcberker>
<perfidious>>

No doubt in my mind they are.

Sep-20-13  SugarDom: Sheet. I cant help imagine a guy with a hand puppet. Pugak is the puppet in this case. Show us the youtube please.
Sep-20-13  Bureaucrat: LOL. The hand puppet always agrees.

  Domdaniel: Hand puppet? I think it's a *foot* puppet ... the sock goes on the foot, and the foot goes in the mouth. In fact, every time he opens his mouth he puts his foot in it.
Sep-20-13  tolengoy: <Show us the youtube please.>

Sep-21-13  QueentakesKing: Can somebody please please tase tolengoy or put him in a straight jacket ASAP!!!
Sep-21-13  Absentee: <Domdaniel: Hand puppet? I think it's a *foot* puppet ... the sock goes on the foot, and the foot goes in the mouth. In fact, every time he opens his mouth he puts his foot in it.>

That's a feat if you think that at the same time his head's got to be firmly lodged inside his ass.

Sep-21-13  tolengoy: my idiot list is getting longer...welcome new enrolles to the program:

<domdaniel>
<absentee>

Who will be this class valedictorian?

Sep-21-13  Refused: Oh Glenn, please.

I thought cg banned you from this site again. At least that's what I thought after reading cgs comment on the Ivanov page.

Anyway, I am disappointed I did not make to your top ten this time.

Sep-21-13  tolengoy: <Anyway, I am disappointed I did not make to your top ten this time.>

There are plenty of vacancies..The draft is still open...you are free to enlist.

<I thought cg banned you from this site again. >

I am being singled out for prosecution of an imaginary crime. CG has been reluctant to yield to the calling of the mob which has already driven the stake to the ground...they have filed for a warrant of arrest...the gestapo will be arriving anytime to serve the order and bring me to the burning ground.

I would not go down without a fight and with my tail behind my back...I will ride into the sunset with my head held high. Judas will be coming to give me a kiss any time soon. I am making a list of who's been naughty and nice...for the second coming of Santa Clause.

I agree, till the last breath. Amen...

Sep-26-13  Stormbringer: It's remarkable how much shorter this thread got simply by ignoring him
May-14-14  waustad: Is there any news of an edition of this in 2014?
May-29-14  waustad: chess2700 has this to say:

2nd Sinquefield Cup, Web (6)
End of Aug - Sep 2014, Saint Louis, MO (USA)

The link they give is a generic link to the St Louis chess club.
