  Penguincw: Standings after Round 4:

Pairings for Round 5:

Sep-26-14  Troller: Let's see if Vladislav Artemiev continues his rise to the top. He had a minor setback in rd 3, losing against Andrey Baryshpolets, but has otherwise 4 wins against players rated from 2347 to 2598, netting a few rating points. Baryshpolets is currently leading at 4.
Sep-26-14  Pulo y Gata: Back to back losses for Volokitin! This tournament has several surprises in the early goings.

  PhilFeeley: According to, Volokitin's losses weren't back-to-back, but rounds 1 and 5.

PhilFeeley: #1 Zhigalko isn't doing so well either. Kraskenow, however, is and has done well in other events. Let's root for him.
Sep-28-14  Pulo y Gata: Phil, turns out chessgames uploaded the two losses first.
Sep-28-14  falso contacto: Its OK. Slight inaccuracy. Who cares.

virginmind: With 2 rounds to go, Lupulescu makes a good impression, getting 5.5 points. Tomorrow he plays Inarkiev and I hope for a good result.
Sep-28-14  paavoh: Yes, <> is THE place to go for more accurate results, pairings, TPRs etc. It is a great resource.
Sep-28-14  Layson: <paavoh: Yes, <> is THE place to go for more accurate results, pairings, TPRs etc. It is a great resource.>

The search interface absolutely blows however. Sometimes it's difficult to find a tournament even if you know of it.

An interface that would differentiate GM tournaments from the Vatican City Junior Championship would be nice.

It's most unfortunate because it's near perfect once you find the tournament you're looking for.

Sep-29-14  Chess for life: <Layson> My experience exactly!
Sep-29-14  paavoh: True, >Layson>, now that I think about it more thoroughly. Should be implemented w/o too much trouble?
