  ketchuplover: Everybody Wang Chen tonight!
May-05-17  Appaz: Is this just a qualifier? If not, this is a very weak national championship, relative to the top players of the respective nation.

Only Wei Yi present from the top 8 of this power house of chess (Ni Hua lowest ranked at 2675).

May-05-17  sonia91: Congrats to Wei Yi on his 3rd straight national title.
May-09-17  ex0duz: Yeah, I'm surprised it's so weak. Even Hou Yifan isn't here. Seems like this was a free gift for Wei Yi. Where is everyone else?
May-09-17  ex0duz: The top 3 seeds apart from Wei Yi are all rated between 2610-2615.. the rest are under 2600, 3 players are under 2500. How come so low??
