Reykjavik Open (2018)

The 33rd GAMMA Reykjavik Open was played in Reykjavik, Iceland 6-14 March 2018, in memory of Robert James Fischer. Rounds 2 and 3 were both played on March 7, and there was a rest day on March 9. Time controls: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, then 30 more minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move one. Tournament director: Gunnar Bjornsson. Chief Arbiter: Omar Salama. The 25-year-old Baskaran Adhiban won with 7.5/9.
