Shenzhen Masters (2018)

The 2nd Shenzhen Masters (also named DT Cup) was a double round robin played in Shenzhen, China 4-14 November 2018. The prize fund was $90,000, with $20,000 to the winner. Players received 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move one. (1) Maxime Vachier-Lagrave took first place on tie-break from Anish Giri and Ding Liren after all scored 5.5/10. 86,7% of the games were drawn. Ding Liren reached exactly 100 games in a row undefeated during the tournament before losing the next game to the tournament winner. (2)
